Today I went to Subway for lunch (which is pretty gross, but whatever) and encountered another “thing that negates itself.” The young woman who made my sandwich was wearing a uniform polo shirt, a visor with the store’s logo on it, and a name tag. Except there was no name on it. It was just a tag with no name on it, which makes no sense to be wearing, bc it serves no purpose, yet there it was.
Name tags need to be abolished anyway, but that’s another story.
Or at leaaaaast let us wear fake name nametags!
